3 Day First Aid at Work Course (QCF - Level 3)

The three day first aid at work course level 3 award is designed to learn basic and intermediate first aid skills to gain knowledge and confidence in view of becoming a proficient First Aider
. The course itself is broken down into 2 units. The assessment procedure is ongoing by the instructor along with an assessment paper each day. All learners must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Unit 1 - Emergency First Aid in the Workplace.

Unit 2 - Recognition and Management of Illnesses and Injury in the Workplace.

Two day Paediatric first aid course level 2 award is ideal for Child Minders and Creche Assistants who are responsible for the welfare of Children and Babies in their care. It provides those persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of child and baby first aid procedures, along with the ability to recognise and treat many childhood conditions and illnesses. This course is satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.

Unit 1 - Paediatric Emergency First Aid.

1 Day EFAW Course

It has to be said that this is the most popular course within the confines of the First Aid at Work Syllabus. Speaking to many employers and employees the one day emergency first aid at work (EFAW) course can cover the majority of common injuries and illnesses within the workplace.

The one day first aid training course is designed to teach basic skills in first aid and gain sufficient knowledge to help deal with an emergency situation at work. This qualification is mainly used in a low risk working environment.

We are running our next HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work course at the Beacon Community Centre, Prospect Road, Market Drayton on Friday 22nd March 2013 between 9.00am and 4.30pm. The cost is £65 per candidate which includes a HSE approved certificate that is valid for 3 years and a unique up to date adult colour first aid manual.

The Emergency First Aid for Motorcycle (EFAM) courses has been specifically designed for motorcyclists at all levels. During this one day course the rider will learn how to treat themselves if needed and give first aid assistance to a fellow rider if required.  During the course you will learn relevant skills such as scene management,  how to deal with suspected spinal injuries and helmet removal.  This course will give you the skills and confidence to help someone in an emergency.  Learn to a save life.
